Happy Birthday to Lord Serpent!

Today marks the birth of the vocalist/guitarist of Ceremonial Castings, Lord Serpent.

Hailing from the Battle Grounds of Washington, Ceremonial Castings are one of the, if not the, best black metal bands to come out of the Pacific Northwest. With their unique sound that they first dubbed as ‘American Deathphonic Black Metal’ and now ‘Bewitching Black Metal’ they have created a following the world over. They have shared the stage with bands such as Mayhem, Watain, Inquisition, Averse Sefira and Enthroned.

If you haven’t taken the time to check out their work, I highly suggest you do so. If you’re in a position to see them live, then waste no time and go! Their live performances seem to always hold something new and captivating. No matter how many times I’ve seen them, I can’t help but be up front headbanging my ass off while photographing their set.

I do hope everyone out there will help me in wishing Lord Serpent a most wondrous and metal filled birthday!
